The Health Information Exchange

The Health Commons Project is a nonprofit dedicated to improving healthcare access and quality through technology solutions and innovation. Health Commons Project recently acquired OneHealthPort—Washington State’s Health Information Exchange (HIE) and prominent provider of health data solutions, giving it the tools to support providers, health systems, and public health agencies with real-time, secure access to patient data.

This expanded capability enables enhanced data interoperability, improved care coordination, support for public health initiatives, and increased accessibility for health and social care providers. As a result, providers across systems and communities have the ability to coordinate care, support more seamless transitions between services, and share critical patient data when necessary to best serve people.
