Washington State’s Communities Building Resilient Youth program awards grants to community-led organizations that create regular activities and events—from student social media campaigns to community service projects—to support youth mental health and well-being. Organizations operated by and for communities that experience health inequities are prioritized. These grassroots initiatives work directly with at-risk youth and their communities to build protective factors and decrease risk factors associated with suicide, violence, and harm through ongoing engagement and connection.
